Theatre Projects Consultants is seeking a client services manager to join its team in New York, USA.
The client services manager is the spinal cord of the sales department. They will own the sales process from lead through project startup, helping to set and execute on sales strategy. The client services manager will own relationships and direct partners and other sales team members on communication and client services strategy.
The successful candidate for this position will be gregarious and outgoing, with strong connections in the architecture, design, or theatre producing realms.
Position responsibilities:
- organize and manage all project opportunities and establish next steps
- set outreach strategies for project prospects, working with business development leads to identify teaming partners and outreach strategies
- set project teams
- work with partners and practice staff to develop and improve relationships
- oversee preparation of quals and proposals, and assist in writing custom scope as needed
- assist with developing fee and expense estimates
- set and manage internal and external deadlines for proposals and qualification requests
- set and manage internal follow-up deadlines and client services activities
- assist with presentations for interviews and interview prep
- maintain and update CRM database, including internal financial projections
- periodically check in with clients throughout project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction
Essential skills and experience:
- five to ten years’ proven effective experience in a client services or producer role
- love of talking to clients and making people smile
- must possess tact, diplomacy, and a high level of client service
- familiarity with architecture industry and firms, performing arts organizations, or real estate development and developers
- highly organized and able to coordinate multiple schedules, projects, and deadlines
- ability to deliver high-quality, accurate work (self-editing and proofing is a must!) on deadline
- ability to recall information from notes or emails on a specific topic/project accurately and quickly
- ability to stay calm under pressure
- effective follow-up and tracking tactics
- fluency in Microsoft Office programs in a PC environment
- proof of legal right to work in the United States
- fluency in English, both spoken and written
Valued but not required skills and experience:
- familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Deltek Vision CRM database
- experience working in theatre or architecture
Salary: £75,000 - £99,999
