Spaceagency is seeking a full-time senior urban designer to join our team to work on exciting, high-profile international projects.
Spaceagency is a design agency based in London and working globally. Our expertise lies in how people experience spaces. We design people’s journeys through urban, cultural, sporting, event, retail and hospitality spaces. Our international client portfolio includes cities, global brands and collaborations with renowned architectural practices. Our current projects include public realm wayfinding, future city experience strategies and exhibition design.
Our work integrates insight into how people move in and understand cities, urban-scale spaces and buildings with user experience design. This requires a strategic thinker who can translate analysis into design concepts, and who can think about the very large and small scale at the same time.

- ability to multitask, to manage resources and workflow in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility ─ in a small business staff are involved in all areas of work
- drive, determination and understanding for when hard work is required
Technical qualifications and role requirements:
- masters degree in urban design, urban planning, landscape architecture or architecture
- minimum eight years’ professional experience
- 3D software skills required: AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, V-Ray
- 2D software skills: Adobe Creative Suite
- strong analytical skills and strategic design thinking
- design talent and portfolio of professional design experience
- excellent communication skills – professional English, written and verbal
- availability and eligibility to begin work immediately in London with a current valid working visa for the UK
