There is an opportunity for a marketing manager at the lab_ in London.

the lab_, is a collective of five creative companies; urbanlab_, energylab_, spacelab_, sense_ and the depot_. Together we are constantly experimenting and reshaping the boundaries to form exciting, unpredictable, outcomes. In pursuit of big ideas that have the potential to evolve and grow.

The role:

  • familarise yourself with the lab_ and wider collective; websites and brand, to create online content that supports their long-term visions
  • work with the lab_ team to develop an innovative and creative web content strategy, including social media, that aligns with the lab_ brand and values
  • maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all content and delivery of content throughout the year
  • manage, update and maintain all social media channels for the lab_ and lab_ collective
  • manage, update and maintain the lab_ and collective websites
  • monitor website performance and content performance and report back to the lab_ team
  • support the lab_ team curating and hosting events
  • lead and update the content and planning for the lab_ weekly newsletter; collate

The ideal candidate:

  • at least three years’ experience in a similar role
  • strong skills in creating content plans and corresponding content
  • strong knowledge of using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement
  • not afraid to develop, share and implement innovative and creative ideas
  • experience with social media engagement strategies
  • ability to develop graphics
  • knowledge of Photoshop, LinkedIn, Instagram, WordPress, MailChimp and Hootsuite
