Paul Vick Architects is recruiting a qualified post Part-III architect to join its team in west London.
Qualified architect, ARB/RIBA
We are currently looking for a talented and motivated individual with an open mind and the ability to contribute and pick up our way of doing things. The team is flexible and projects are multi-disciplinary, so we are looking for someone eager to learn.
Essential:
- post Part-III qualified architect (ARB) – with UK experience
- excellent communication skills, English fluency is essential. Successful candidates will be expected to liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities
- experience with detailing and specifications
- excellent design understanding
- proof of right to work in the UK
- knowledge of UK planning policies and building regulations
Desired skills:
- proficient in MicroStation, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
- confidence in working independently and willingness to take on responsibility and develop new skills
- maturity and ability to communicate effectively with the team
- excellent organisational skills
- construction site experience
Initial outputs will be:
- develop design from pre-planning sketches
- develop design according to building control regulations
- prepare presentations to express design ideas and fit outs
- liaise with consultants and contractors
- detail and coordinate packages
- undertake site inspections
