Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) currently has a fantastic opportunity for a senior architect or architectural technologist to join the team in its London studio.

The role
As a senior architect/technologist, you will report directly to the associate director, taking responsibility for implementing the project plan, ensuring all project deliverables are delivered on time, monitoring design and construction documentation and maintaining technical excellence.
Key responsibilities/requirement/experience:
- assist the associate director with all aspects of design development
- responsible for design development of projects from concept to completion and technical detailing
- responsible for all local authority compliance and code compliance
- monitor and ensure smooth progress for all local authority submissions
- coordinate all sub consultant packages
- review all drawing packages prior to issue
- assist with sourcing suitable materials and construction systems in line with the architectural design intent
- responsibility for meeting the brief from an operational and functional perspective
- responsible for issuing all drawings, specifications, documentation
- ensure the operational standards are understood, adhered to and maintained by the project team
- responsible for monitoring design and construction documentation and maintain technical excellence on all projects
Key skills and experience:
- excellent technical, graphic and 3D modelling skills
- can-do attitude and strong desire to positively impact society through the built form
- excellent understanding of UK planning and building regulations
- ability to work as part of a team
- strong interpersonal skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- professional membership to CIAT or ARB
Job position
This is a full-time position, based in our London studio located in Holborn. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
