Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) currently has a fantastic opportunity for an architectural technologist to join the team in its London studio.

The role

As an architectural technologist, you will report directly to the Lead Technologist, taking responsibility for implementing the project plan, ensuring all project deliverables are delivered on time, monitoring design and construction documentation and maintaining technical excellence.

Key responsibilities/requirements/experience:

  • aiding the technical team with all aspects of design development
  • support the design development of projects from concept to completion
  • support for all local authority compliance and code compliance
  • responsible for utilising correct design standards
  • support all technical detailing of the project
  • responsible for meeting the brief from an operational and functional perspective
  • support coordination with all sub consultant packages
  • assist on all drawing packages to ensure full coordination and technical excellence is achieved prior to issue
  • research suitable materials and construction systems in line with the architectural design intent to inform the documentation

Key skills and experience:

  • excellent technical, graphic and 3D modelling skills
  • understanding of UK planning and building regulations
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • professional membership to CIAT

Job position

This is a full-time position, based in our London studio located in Holborn. All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.

BSBG is currently working on a variety of prestigious hospitality and residential schemes across London, and this role presents a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of the team and progress to a leadership role in the future.
