Design Squared Architects is seeking an architect to join its team in London.
Design Squared Architects is a small, close-knit architecture studio based in London working primarily on private residential projects. Established in 2007, the practice has successfully completed over nine hundred building projects and has developed an extensive portfolio.
We are looking for an architect to join our team, who will work on a wide variety of private residential projects.
Your role will include, but not be limited to:
- leading projects at various design stages – concept, planning and technical
- measured surveys
- design in both 2D and 3D
- presentations to clients
- preparation and submission of planning applications
- producing technical drawings and tender packages
- liaising with other industry consultants
- liaising with contractors and specialist subcontractors
- site visits
You will be based in our office in South East London. This is a key role in a close-knit, friendly team with involvement in all aspects of the studio. The right candidate will have the ability to take on responsibility, multi-task, prioritise their workload and meet tight deadlines when required. They will be a team player but also be able to work with self-drive and strong initiative. We believe that every member of the team enriches and strengthens the dynamic, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Our ideal candidate will have full competency in Microstation/AutoCAD and SketchUp. They will also have experience in UK residential architecture.
