The Lakes by Yoo is seeking junior/mid-weight FF&E assistant to join its team in Gloucestershire, UK.
Job description
The Lakes by Yoo is exclusive private development, spread across 850 acres of woodland, meadows and lakes in the Cotswold water park. Established for over 15 years, we build unique, luxury lakefront and woodland second homes and hospitality accommodation. The estate also includes the Award-winning Orchard Spa, and numerous clubhouse buildings.
The estate is fully serviced with 24 hour security, guest services, concierge and guest services team to help with all resident and guest requests. The Estate is home to several communal spaces and facilities including a full-service spa and gym, tennis courts, a bird hide, a lakeside café bar, and a zip wire. A range of activities such as kayaking, yoga, fishing, bushcraft, and kids clubs are available to all residents and guests on a daily basis.

Key aspects
- FF&E and admin assistant to head of FF&E
- sourcing of FF&E, artwork, accessories and material samples
- setting up presentations and sample boards
- managing FF&E and finishes documentation including pricing & some purchasing
- liaising with suppliers and the wider team and managing the follow-up on inquiries
- preparing for and assisting during project installs
- general administration of and assistance with all aspects of the projects
Desired skills and experience
- level – experienced junior/mid-weight
- two to three years’ minimum professional experience in the interior/FF&E industry
- in-depth knowledge of FF&E & material suppliers
- efficient and proactive with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- strong presentations skills
- meticulous attention to detail
- proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Vectorworks and Excel
- ability to read and understand technical drawings
- works well independently as well as in a team environment
- good knowledge of current interior trends
- passionate about design and creating beautiful projects and experiences
- fluency in spoken and written in English
- full UK drivers license
