Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt is an award-winning progressive and creative architectural studio based in Basingstoke and London, with a breadth of experience across many sectors and building types.
We have exciting opportunities for senior architects to join our growing team, based in our London studio. We are committed to developing equality, diversity and inclusion both in our industry and in our studios and this is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Architect looking for flexibility around their working hours and location, with both full time and part time roles available.
We are an AJ100 practice that has won a number of awards in recent years, working on a variety of projects spanning mixed-use, housing, workplace, education, community and culture, both in the UK and overseas. Who are we looking for?
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- a minimum of five years’ post-Part 3 working experience, working in a similar role
- relevant design experience for our portfolio, with residential or education an advantage
- an eye for design and a passion for architecture
- success in previously managing multiple projects and teams
- a working knowledge of Revit
- a driven, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
- great verbal and written communication skills
- the ability to multi-task, prioritise and thrive in a busy environment, showing good time management skills and strong attention to detail
What can we offer you:
- salary range of £43,500 – £51,750 per annum FTE depending on your experience, and we will support you to develop the right experience if you don’t yet have it – we are passionate about spotting talent and developing our team to reach their potential
- opportunities for both full time (40 hours) and part time (24-32 hours) roles
- flexible hybrid working arrangements after the initial induction and probation period – you’ll spend at least 60% of your hours working in our London studio with our team, with the rest worked from home if you prefer. Most of our team work in the studio Monday, Wednesday, Thursday but this pattern isn’t essential
- 33 days holiday FTE (inclusive of bank holidays) plus up to an additional three days paid leave at Christmas
- private healthcare, pension, employee referral bonus and payment of ARB fees
- training – previous knowledge is great, but if not, we’ll bring you up to speed
