Senior architect

Parti is hiring a senior architect to join its team in London.
Parti is a creative architecture studio working on a range of exciting, medium-scale projects that offer great architectural opportunities for experimentation and expression.
We are working on a number of new build projects including: an art gallery with creative office spaces in London; a restaurant on an island in the River Thames; and two new waterfront houses. Additionally, we enjoy working with existing buildings and are currently working on several fascinating listed buildings across the UK. These include; a water tower in Suffolk; an old post office in the Peak District; a farm in the Lake District; and a Cornish beach-house. We are also working on furniture collections and exhibition design, and carry out self-driven research based projects when time affords!
The role advertised involves both design and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving designs and project processes, managing a small team on a selection of projects, liaising with consultants and planning officers, attending site meetings, and leading client meetings.
Parti is currently based in Islington.
All candidates will need to provide evidence of:
- Part 3 qualified, with relevant experience in practice (three plus years’ post qualification)
- excellent design skills and attention to detail
- able to confidently develop design work
- excellent experience with technical detailing and putting together tender sets/coordinating construction information
- excellent familiarity with the RIBA design process, feasibility studies, CDM requirements, construction contracts etc.
- excellent organisational skills and time management
- an excellent communicator with good writing skills
- able to manage others/a small team
- proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino (V-Ray preferable)
- proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- fluent in written and spoken English
