Lawson Ward Studio is looking for a Part 1/2 architectural assistant to join its growing team in London.

Lawson Ward Studio is an East-London-based architecture and design studio. Established by Hannah Lawson and Georgina Ward in 2020, our growing studio is looking for talented and creative architectural assistants to work on a range of cultural and social projects. The role will involve a variety of design stages, from concept design to technical stages on several exciting projects. We are currently working on exciting projects for a number of London’s leading Museums and Galleries, including the National Gallery and the Courtauld Institute of Art, alongside a new community hall in South London, proposals for a leading independent school; and a number of private residential projects. Often these projects consider the reinvention of existing buildings or places through careful remodelling or dramatic intervention, commonly working with community-led clients. Our team’s work has been recognised with numerous awards including the inaugural Emerging Woman in Architecture award.

We are looking for talented Part 1/2 architectural assistant to join our small team.

What we are looking for:

• excellent visual and graphic presentation skills
• enthusiasm and the ability to work well as part of a team
• well-organised and able to take initiative
• strong visual and verbal communication skills
• excellent CAD skills, which ideally will include knowledge of Revit and/or MicroStation
• a genuine passion for architectural design
