Büro Ole Scheeren is an international firm that practices architecture, urbanism, interior design, and research.
Our work ranges from city-defining structures and innovative urban prototypes to carefully crafted cultural buildings, with projects across Asia, Europe and North America.
We have recently completed the Guardian Art Center in Beijing, DUO in Singapore, and MahaNakhon in Bangkok; our current developments include 1500 West Georgia in downtown Vancouver, an innovative adaptive re-use in Frankfurt, a high-rise complex in Ho Chi Minh City, and a landmark super high-rise in Southern China.
We are currently looking for a senior architectural visual artist to join our team of image makers in our Beijing office. The senior architectural visual artist should have a desire to focus on architectural representation and visualisation, with a keen eye for composition and lighting quality, and interest in related artistic disciplines, ranging from photography, film, to graphic design. Candidates with an architecture or urban planning are preferred.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who can demonstrate a command of high-end rendering techniques and post production. You are required to have strong skills in 3D Studio MAX, V-Ray, and Photoshop. Ability to work and collaborate in a creative team environment is essential.
Minimum requirements:
- highly creative approach towards image-making
- minimum three-five years of experience in image-making at international architectural design firms or rendering agencies
- strong graphic and design talent
- excellent AutoCAD, 3D Max, Rhino, Photoshop, V-Ray skills
- ability to work and deliver within tight time frames
- fluency in English; Bilingual (English/Mandarin, English/German) a plus
- degree in architecture and/or urban planning preferred
