There is a vacancy for an architectural technician at p-ad (Pelican Architecture and Design) to join its team in London.

p-ad is a small architectural practice based in Notting Hill Gate working on a variety of scales and building types, though primarily residential.

We are looking for an architectural technician to join our architectural team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• preparation, coordination and communication of technical information
• technical construction detailing
• developing envelope details including calculation of U-Values
• preparing drawings and information for building regulations
• tracking building regulation compliance during construction•liaise with the design and construction team
• attend site, respond to contractor queries and prepare site reports
• keeping up to date with new construction methods, materials, technology and regulations

Required experience and skills:

• familiarity with VectorWorks CAD software
• knowledge of building regulation and regulatory requirements
• ability to work in a small team across numerous projects
• ability to work to deadlines and manage own time
