Cameron Design House is seeking a design and sales assistant to join its team in London.
The design and sales assistant will report to the head of projects and sales and receive in-depth product and sales training from our experienced team of designers and craftspeople.
We are a leading British lighting design company based in London, specialising in sculptural lighting installations that are distributed globally.
The ideal candidate should have:
- some design experience and a clear passion for sculptural lighting
- a completed interior architecture, interior or product design course/degree
- experience in sales and/or the luxury brand sector would be an advantage
- experience speaking with clients in person, via phone/email or at professional events
- a positive attitude and be solution-oriented
- excellent written and spoken English
- good design and technical skills
- high level of organisation
- proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD, as well as knowledge of G-suite (docs, sheets, etc.) or Microsoft Office. Software training for specialist applications will be provided in-house
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic team player to join our growing company.
As part of our small and talented team of product, interior, and technical designers, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of products.
The role of the design and sales assistant involves the following responsibilities:
- working closely with clients to develop bespoke sculptural lighting designs
- creating technically proficient deliverable projects, producing lighting specifications, CAD drawings, and 3D models, and creating rendered images
- compiling mood board presentations to illustrate design concepts and meeting with clients in our studio/showroom and on-site
- representing the company at trade shows
This is a full-time permanent position available immediately.
