There is an opportunity for a PR coordinator to join Moooi in Amsterdam.
We are looking for a talented international PR coordinator, a brand ambassador with both flair and persuasiveness. A challenging fulltime job where you’ll be a part of the creations department.
Tasks and responsibilites
Convey the story of the Moooi Brand to all stakeholders.
As our PR coordinator you:
- are responsible for the activities and strategy worldwide in terms of PR and lead the international PR team
- interpret three roles – a translator (contact between Moooi and target groups), an organiser (bring together various parties) and a ‘reader, listener and writer’ (interpret information and make it available to the public)
- co-organise fairs and events and responsible for PR and event related communication
- write/create press releases, mailings and invites together with Marcom team
- pro-actively manage and visit contacts like press, influencers, ambassadors, etc. (including traveling to key-areas) and build new relations
- support the sales teams and dealers with regards to events and communication
- organise up-to-date input for website and press database
- are responsible for the PR loans and requests

For this job you will be working from both Breda and Amsterdam and you will be part of the marketing and communication team within the creations department.

We are looking for a PR professional with extensive knowledge of design, as well as international Public Relations experience. You can write internal and external communication and PR plans, you have relevant contacts in the media and you gained experience with organising (inter)national PR events.
Specific competences for this role are: external orientation, formation of judgement, planning and organising, vision, kindling enthusiasm, relations management, social versatility, initiative and persuasiveness.
Some more practical skills which are important to us:
- work experience in a similar job for at least five years
- we are an international company, so fluent in English is most important, though it will be nice if you can communicate in Dutch too
- of course you know how to work with MS Office and it would be great if you also have some experience with Salesforce
- you live between Amsterdam and Breda or are willing to relocate
- you have a European working visa.

Well, we will start with a temporary contract and offer you a market-oriented salary. Based on full-time employment you are entitled to 26 holiday days a year. You will be included in our company pension plan without paying any contribution. Moooi pays 100% of the premiums, also for partner and orphans pension. And last, we have a company health care plan which gives you 7% to 10% discount on the health insurance premiums.
