Mid-weight creative assistant
at Sculptivate
Sculptivate has an opportunity for a mid-weight creative assistant to join its team in London.
Sculptivate is looking for a creative assistant to work closely with Sculptivate’s head of design and join our busy studio in London. The assistant will work on a diverse range of events and experiential design projects. The successful candidate will be able to take on a wide variety of roles.
Main roles and responsibilities
Creative research:
- researching creative themes, styles and brands
- collating mood boards and image references
- researching materials and finishes
- furniture and prop sourcing
Project coordination/assisting:
- contacting suppliers
- organising samples
- requesting supplier quotations
- assisting in confirming rental items and managing prop lists
- updating creative presentations
- attend site visits
Assistant/organisation:
- supporting in managing design resource
- organising meetings
- organising the design calendar
- assisting on emails and follow up actions
- creating and managing meeting notes
- updating supplier lists and material catalogues
About Sculptivate
Recent projects have included a global fine jewellery launch, a HNWI private party, a pop-up luxury retail space, a beach club design, a desert island villa, a global fragrance launch experience, to name but a few.
This is a chance to challenge yourself to develop your skills and gain experience working on unique projects with a global reach. You will join a strong and supportive team, sharing ideas with your creative lead and developing concepts alongside the technical team. A high level of organisational skill is required, as well as the ability to manage multiple events and projects in unison.
Useful experience:
- visual merchandising for luxury brands
- TV/film set dressing, running and styling
- designer/creative assistant for events/temporary installations
- designer/creative assistant for interior design
Skills and experience:
- ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines
- self-motivated, focused and able to get on with the tasks at hand
- strong teamwork ethic and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the team at all levels
- strong presentation skills
- must be experienced with Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- must have a creative eye and enjoy the process of researching and working alongside designers to develop creative concepts
- experience working on styling/creating creative environments or supporting a team in this style of work
- three to five years in the industry

- salary dependant on experience but circa 40k

Environment:
- predominantly studio based in Northwest London
- close to the green spaces and bustling cafes of Queens Park
- working from 9 am to 6 pm, five days a week
