Freeland Rees Roberts has an opportunity for an architect/architectural assistant to join its team in Cambridge, UK.
We are a friendly, award winning employee owned practice specialising in contemporary and sustainable design, sensitive renovation, deep retrofitting, and specialist conservation.
We are looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic architect/architectural assistant with a CV and portfolio that demonstrates the following essential skills:
- minimum two years’ experience post Part 2
- experience of working in the UK as a project architect from work stages 0-7
- AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft
- ability to produce planning, tender and construction drawing packages
- fluency in written and spoken English
- permanent right to live and work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided)
Desirable skills:
- experience of working in historic and listed buildings
- high level of proficiency in using, Sketch-Up, Revit
- technical knowledge of low energy and ecological design
- Passivhaus certified designer and/or PAS2035
Our office is based in the centre of Cambridge. Full-time position (37.5hrs/wk) for immediate start, so candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP.
Salary: to be agreed depending on experience.
