Farrer Huxley is hiring a landscape architect/senior landscape architect to join its team in London.
Farrer Huxley is an award-winning practice of landscape architects who enable relationships between people and nature to create distinctive, environmentally sensitive and inclusive places.
We are looking for a landscape architect/senior landscape architect with at least three years’ experience, including the UK planning context, to join our team for a six-month sabbatical cover (with the possibility that this could become a permanent position following the initial contract).
Our small and friendly team has a wide range of skills, from engagement and planting design through to environmental expertise and technical delivery. We work in a relaxed and close-knit environment where everyone is encouraged to have a creative voice and is supported as an individual.
Farrer Huxley is looking for a landscape architect/senior landscape architect with a minimum of three years’ experience who is:
- comfortable in the day-to-day running of projects and managing/coordinating with the project team
- organised and able to lead on/coordinate several projects
- self-motivated and happy to collaborate with clients, stakeholders and/or other consultants
- confident in attending meetings and presenting work
- experienced in producing planning reports and tender packages
- familiar with engagement-led design, the UK planning system and working to RIBA stages
- conversant with Adobe CC and AutoCad
- knowledge/experience of Revit would be beneficial
Farrer Huxley is based in London, as are the majority of our projects. Whilst we would prefer to work with a landscape architect who can attend site visits and in-person meetings where required, we are also happy to consider remote and flexible working arrangements.
