AB+AC Architects is recruiting a project architect to join its team in Lisbon, Portugal.
We are currently looking for passionate and talented project architect to join its team in Lisbon starting the beginning of September, with minimum of five years’ proven working experience at international-level architecture firms in the role of intermediate or project architect.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an emerging architectural practice with more than 10 years of collective working experience at award-winning architecture firms in the world at an important point in its development.
As a project architect, you will be working on a variety of high-profile projects, ranging in program and scale, from concept to construction. You should bring strong design experience, knowledge in producing complete sets of technical drawings with accuracy, ability to manage a small team of three to four designers, proven experience on-site, as well as a true understanding and passion for what we do. The possibility to work in a small architecture studio will enable you to take part to different aspects and phases of the projects, taking extensive responsibility for the work you develop with the team, while testing your limits in a fast-paced yet stimulating and creative working environment.
Join us if you are an architect who is/has:
- graduated in architecture or other relevant course (master of architecture/Part 3 or equivalent)
- strong proficiency in Rhino, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
- high rendering skills in at least one of these softwares (Vray, Enscape, Stable Diffusion AI, Midjourney AI)
- excellent visualisation, diagrammatic, and graphical skills to develop design options and visuals in autonomy (diagrams, models, sketches, drawings, renderings)
- great aesthetic sensibility and attention to details and accuracy
- proactive and self-motivated team player with a strong passion for architecture, design and art
- strong organizational and time management skills
- fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English
Please note that only applicants who are seeking a long-term collaboration on a full-time basis will be considered. Working in remote is a possibility only after having created a solid base of collaboration with the rest of the Lisbon team. While, salary will be in accordance with the candidate’s ability and relevant experience.
