Aukett Swanke Group is looking for a group financial controller to join its team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for a group financial controller to join a highly innovative and award-winning business in London.
We are a unique and fast-growing AIM listed Architecture and Smart Buildings group, seeking an ambitious group financial controller to assume leadership of the finance team. Based at our head office in central London, we’re looking for an individual to help consolidate the finance team and take on reporting obligations to support the group finance director and chief operating officer.
Desired skills and experience:
- fully qualified – ACA / CIMA / ACCA
- minimum post-qualification experience of at least three years
- previous financial controller role ideal
- exposure to auditing companies to listed PLC level
- excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
- strong background in current IFRS
- ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
- reporting
- reports directly to the group finance director
- requires coordination, leadership and management of group finance staff
- involvement with the group’s main board directors
- extensive interaction with subsidiary directors
Key responsibilities:
- revenue and costs
- monthly group management reporting (to near year-end standard comprising an income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement)
- budgeting and forecasting
- group external reporting
- management of the financial team
- taxation
- funding/treasury
- intra-group transactions
- corporate transactions
- providing commercial financial support to subsidiary directors
