We are looking for an experienced human resources coordinator to support the London studio. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of human resources (HR) responsibilities and partner with the operations managers, as well as other leaders on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the office by planning, implementing and evaluating HR policies, programs, practices and systems.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- assists with talent acquisition, providing support throughout the recruitment process
- builds credible relationships with key leaders, stakeholders and peers globally by combining commercial and HR expertise to add value to the business
- supports change management initiatives
- assists investigating employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner, and in accordance with employment policies and relevant employment/labour laws
- responds to employee inquiries, issues relating to compensation, benefits, leaves of absence and ensures timely and appropriate action
- supports employees and provides assistance throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies and legal framework
- assists with regular review of employment policies and procedures, including input to the staff handbook
- evaluates reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals
- supports the annual performance review process
- assists in establishing, updating and distributing job descriptions, as necessary
- facilitates training programmes and workshops, to include CPD programme
- assists with maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- assists in new hire orientations, onboarding and offboarding
- supports company culture and recognition programs
- keeps up-to-date with changes to immigration system; ensures right to work checks are carried out and the company remains compliant with local immigration law
- liaises with immigration lawyers regarding visas applications and renewals
- keeps up-to-date with developments in employee legislation and human resource best practice
- collates information for payroll, updating monthly payroll sheet and report to the finance manager
- benefits administration
- general human resources administrative duties as required by the role
Skills and qualifications:
- CIPD qualification, Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- over four years’ experience in human resources
- possess a good understanding of current employment law and HR best practice
- demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- organisational, critical thinking and communications skills
- attention to detail and good judgement
- ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- able to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- strong IT skills to include the Office Suite
