About the role

Key objective: Communicate the brand to our community through compelling content and clear messaging around our core values
Reporting to the marketing manager, you will be the voice of the brand on our community channels. Working closely with the Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the creation of digital content in order to forge stronger connections with our audience.

The breakdown of the role is as follows:

  • build and engage our community both online and offline
  • write consistent and compelling copy, from social, blog and website content to POD and print materials
  • liaise with and brief graphic designer on visual assets required
  • plan, create and deliver monthly social & editorial calendars
  • use analytical insights to set targets and report on effectiveness
  • grow and maintain database of content creators for future collaborations
  • contribute marketing ideas and create engaging social campaigns and strategies
  • create weekly email marketing campaigns and measure results to improve click through and conversion rates
  • manage and report on Facebook, Instagram and Google Advertising activity
  • have a deep understanding of the Tala culture and brand, embody who Tala is and convey that to our audience and partners


  • experience of working for a like-minded design brand for two-four years
  • pro-active, highly organised individual that is able to manage own time and workload that can hit the ground running from day one
  • self-starter with the confidence to take the initiative to propose a variety of content ideas
  • excellent copywriting skills and editorial mindset
  • strong sense of commercial, brand and technical awareness, whilst keeping up to date with current trends and latest SEO practices
  • ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change
  • good team player with open, collaborative approach to their work
  • knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; confidence using CMS systems
