Picture Plane is looking for a visualiser to join its team in London.
Picture Plane was founded 10 years ago by architects Maria Fulford and Jörg Majer. The studio experiments with different styles and methods of aesthetic expression from photo-real renderings, digital painting to photo-collage. We are commissioned by some of the world’s most talented architects and designers to produce images that communicate the atmosphere and narrative of unbuilt spaces.
The ideal applicant should have a good understanding of 3d space as material, atmosphere, light and narrative and show a creative passion through drawing, photography, collage and animation.
We encourage our artists to experiment with the latest technological developments and question what can be done with them. We provide a creative work environment for you to develop your own skills and share your knowledge and experience with talented and like-minded team members. You will work closely as part of our small team on all stages of your allocated project, from initial drafts to final touches. Your role will also include the day to day running of projects and communicating directly with clients.
Skills and experience:
- at least two years’ work experience in a similar environment
- in-depth knowledge of 3ds Max, V-Ray and Photoshop
- 3D animation and compositing experience in After Effects (optional)
- ability to manage work to deadlines
