Miminat Designs is seeking a talented and enthusiastic mid-weight interior designer to join its London team.
Our studio specialises in high-end interior design across luxury private residences, yachts, hotels and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), always delivering exceptional projects both locally and internationally. We are a vibrant team of creatives who take pride in fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
The role and responsibilities:
- collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences and budget
- develop compelling design concepts and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite
- develop concept design, spatial planning and schedules along with the senior team
- create detailed technical drawings and 3D models, including layouts, RCP and joinery packs
- oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- curate and specify FF&E and material finishes that elevate each space in comprehensive schedules
- coordinate with architects, contractors and suppliers to bring designs to life
- conduct site visits to ensure design integrity and quality execution
- assist in managing junior team tasks, reviewing their work and providing guidance
What we’re looking for:
- proven experience in interior design, or architecture, backed by a strong portfolio
- strong technical knowledge of joinery, detailing and materials
- technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Lumion & 3Dmaxx – this is non-negotiable.
- ability to draw and sketch freehand for illustrative moodboards and renders
- strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- an understanding of building regulations and construction methods
- a creative yet practical mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills
- exceptional communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with clients and management
