Key responsibilities:
- lead creative vision – take charge of developing bold, innovative design concepts for every corner of the yacht—from custom furniture and built-ins to styling, materials, and decorative details—always aligned with our art direction and Sinot’s signature style
- bring ideas to life visually – translate your vision into compelling sketches, drawings, floor plans, and mood boards that clearly communicate your direction and inspires the art director and the team
- elevate form and function – enhance both the beauty and functionality of interior spaces by thoughtfully shaping architectural features and elements, arranging furniture, selecting and creating furnishings and materials, curating FF&E and artwork—all the way through to final design, including the required drawings and documentation
- inspire through presentation – create engaging presentations and detailed briefings for CGI artists, stakeholders and clients. Curate and design material boards, while managing samples, documentation, and timelines with precision
- design as a team sport – collaborate closely with the art director, senior designers, CGI artists, stylists, and engineers, and also with external stakeholders, suppliers and artist —while also showing the ability to work independently as needed
Key qualifications:
- exceptional design talent – a strong creative vision and proven ability to craft breathtaking, fully custom interiors that elevate luxury to new heights
- valuable experience – four to six years of professional experience in high-end interior design—ideally within the superyacht or luxury design world—supported by a recent portfolio that reflects your creative edge and refined taste
- luxury market expertise – In-depth knowledge of premium suppliers, materials, production techniques, and manufacturers that empower you to make smart, sophisticated custom designs and refined choices
- strong project and people skills – clear, confident communication and top-tier organisational skills that keep projects moving seamlessly while fostering strong collaboration across the team as well as keeping track of the right drawings and documentation
- technical mastery – proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, with excellent command of English—both written and spoken
- meticulous and motivated – detail-driven, proactive, and committed to excellence at every stage of the design process
- ready to embark – available for a full-time (40-hour) role, open to international travel, and either based in or ready to relocate to the Netherlands.
