Residential Land is hiring a senior interior designer to join its team in London.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced senior interior designer to lead the design and execution of high-end residential interiors in prime Central London. This role involves overseeing new design projects from concept to completion, as well as maintaining the interior standards of our existing portfolio of rental and sales properties.

The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong organisation and technical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to deliver refined, elegant interiors. You will be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously, liaising with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring every project is executed to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities:

  • lead residential interior design projects from initial concept to final installation, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and brand standards
  • oversee the design, documentation, procurement, and on-site execution of high-end residential interiors
  • maintain and enhance the presentation and functionality of an existing portfolio of luxury rental and sales properties
  • act as the main point of contact for suppliers and contractors, ensuring clear communication and efficient project delivery
  • develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and drawing packages to effectively communicate creative vision
  • prepare accurate technical drawings and FF&E specifications, ensuring all documentation is detailed and current
  • coordinate procurement and oversee the installation of furniture, fixtures, and finishes
  • conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and ensure quality control
  • stay current with residential design trends, innovative materials, and new technologies
  • manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely, on-budget delivery

Key requirements:

  • BA degree in interior design or interior architecture
  • proven experience in high-end residential interior design
  • proven experience delivering projects from concept through to completion
  • proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Excel
  • excellent communication skills
  • in-depth knowledge of FF&E, materials, and finish specifications
  • strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • a creative, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage complex design challenges
  • a portfolio showcasing residential projects, particularly in the luxury market

Salary: £55,000 to £75,000. Deadline for applications is 22 August.
