Senior interior designer
at Memar Architecture
Memar Architecture is looking for a senior interior designer to join its team in Dubai.
Key responsibilities:
- lead and mentor a team of interior designers, ensuring high creativity and productivity
- create initial concept packages with a strong design story to guide the design process through project completion
- meet with the client in order to understand the client’s objectives and desires
- communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team in order to address clients’ needs
- oversee material selection, space planning, and aesthetic detailing
- coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
- implement designs, contracts, and strategic decisions, reporting to the project lead
- be responsible for designing and managing budgets
Requirements:
- bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
- eight plus years’ of experience in interior design, preferably in the UAE or GCC
- knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection and specification
- strong space planning skills and attention to detail
- strong team leadership and project management skills
- strong creative and communication skills
- demonstrated ability to execute
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
