Senior FF&E designer

Marek Wojciechowski Architects is seeking a senior FF&E designer to join its team in London.
MWA are seeking an interior designer with seven plus years of experience in high-end residential interior design, for the position of senior FF&E designer. We are seeking an ambitious designer with the drive and skills to lead our growing interiors team.
Key responsibilities:
- collaborate with the studio director and clients to define their vision and interpret aesthetic preferences
- create and present concept proposals, mood and material boards and FF&E layouts
- develop detailed proposals, technical drawings, specifications, and supporting documents for all FF&E elements
- build and maintain strong relationships with client, suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless collaboration
- demonstrating strong technical ability, including producing detailed drawings for bespoke furniture, upholstery and joinery, and reviewing/redlining technical drawings provided by external suppliers or contractors
- specifying and procuring bespoke FF&E and joinery
- oversee the full FF&E design and procurement cycle, from initial concept to on-site completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are achieved
- prepare procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement team to track budgets and ensure programme targets are met
- coordinate the delivery and installation of FF&E items with specialist installation teams
Required skills and ideal candidate:
- someone who is passionate and has a strong design eye
- someone who is confident and charismatic and can effectively engage with clients, suppliers and the project team
- someone who is proactive and organised
- a minimum of seven years of experience in interior design working on high-end residential projects
- a degree in interior design or a related field, showcasing a strong foundation in design principles and practices
- extensive knowledge of FF&E suppliers and products, coupled with a strong grasp of budgeting and project cost management
- strong communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite and SketchUp (preferred)
- experience using EstiMac or similar procurement software
