Creative 3D designer/visualiser
at Beaufort Architectes & Designers
Beaufort Architectes & Designers is seeking a creative 3D designer/visualiser to join its team in Paris, France.
Our studio develops bespoke pieces and spaces with a strong focus on craftsmanship and advanced engineering. With roots in sailing, naval architecture and design, the studio brings together a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers and designers. Recent projects include ArtExplorer, the world’s largest sailing catamaran (Multihull of the Year award from Boat International), a research vessel for deep-sea exploration, a 60-foot wooden ketch and many more.
The studio was founded by Axel de Beaufort, currently artistic director at Hermès Horizons.
Responsibilities include:
- developing concepts through to construction, including sketches, 3D, renderings and presentations – covering interiors, exterior styling, furniture and bespoke objects
- producing 3D models in collaboration with the team
- generating and presenting design ideas
- coordinating with external partners on construction, engineering studies and supply
Requirements:
- aster’s degree in industrial design or equivalent
- minimum five years’ experience across different project stages and with external partners
- strong aesthetic sensitivity and cultural knowledge across disciplines
- solid technical understanding and proven experience working closely with engineers
- responsible, proactive and detail-oriented approach
- proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
- expertise in creating photorealistic 3D images (KeyShot, 3ds Max–Corona or similar)
Salary: commensurate with experience.
