Squire and Partners is hiring a junior architectural illustrator to join its team in London.
Starting Spring 2026
Squire and Partners are seeking a full time junior architectural illustrator to expand their in-house illustration department at their London practice.
The candidate must be passionate about architecture and the visual communication of ideas, with a keen eye for the composition of images. A background in interior design and/or architecture is required.
As part of the illustration department, your primary focus will be on creating high-quality 3D interior visuals that bring design concepts to life. Working closely with both architects and interior designers, you will produce atmospheric imagery that communicates spatial qualities and materiality with clarity and creativity, contributing to a wide range of exciting and varied projects.
The ideal candidate will:
- have a good understanding of the Adobe creative suite
- have an understanding of SketchUp and other 3D softwares
- have knowledge of EnScape and V-Ray
- be self-driven, with a good eye for composition, palette and detail and be passionate about architecture and visual presentation
The successful candidate should be keen to learn from our experienced team, be willing to further develop their skillset, while also having enough experience to manage their own workload. They must have excellent attention to detail, be organised and efficient, with the ability to work towards tight deadlines.
This position is permanent; working with a small team on 3D visuals, hand drawn illustrations, diagrams and 2D colourings.
