We’re looking for a Project Architect/Interior Designer who shares our passion for beauty and details sophistication, willing to work hand in hand with a passionate, young and talented team and having the opportunity to work in a niche sector where the candidate would be working on projects where collectible art and design as well as bespoke decorative elements would be the basis of every project.
About the role
This is an opportunity to take a role in a studio to work on exciting very high-end projects in London and abroad, where the interior architectural approach is tailor-made on the needs and ambitions of our exclusive clients.
You’ll design and deliver residential projects, mostly high-end single-family homes both in London and worldwide, but also private members clubs. From the first sketch through to completion – translating a client’s vision into spaces that feel as good as they look. You’ll thrive in the early RIBA stages, where ideas take shape, and bring the steadiness and experience to carry those ideas all the way through delivery.
We are looking for ambitious, autonomous and emotionally skilled candidates who are familiar with the private high end clientele sector.
Key responsibilities:
- design in RIBA Stages 0 to 3 with flair, empathy and strategic thinking
- drive detailed design development (Stages 4 to 5) and manage delivery on site (Stages 6 to 7)
- translate client briefs into bold, intuitive interior architectural design concepts
- collaborate clearly and confidently with clients, consultants and colleagues
- mentor junior team members and foster a creative, collaborative studio culture
- take ownership of programme, quality, and budget across multiple projects
What we’re looking for:
- three plus years work experience with a similar role, with a focus on private high-end residential work in the UK
- strong portfolio showing early-stage design talent and conceptual thinking
- excellent communication skills – confident with clients, consultants and your team
- French and Italian speaking are a plus
- experience managing projects through all RIBA stages, from concept to completion
- leadership qualities – able to inspire, coordinate and deliver with confidence
- a positive, sociable outlook and an eagerness to contribute to studio life
