Curator and project manager

Jane Withers Studio is currently looking for an experienced and talented curator/project manager to join its London studio.
Jane Withers Studio is a leading curatorial and design consultancy collaborating with cultural institutions and brands globally, with a focus on design for positive change.
You will be responsible for the creative development and delivery of design strategy and curatorial projects of varying scales and typologies and take a proactive approach to working across our portfolio. You will have a strong track record working with institutional clients and brands and must be highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable.
Responsibilities will include curatorial development, project management, design research, writing, developing concepts and briefs, preparing inspiring presentations and generating digital content. Also managing general admin in a small and busy office and supporting with studio communications, including social media content.
A collaborative spirit and quest for excellence are essential to our studio and work.
Required skills and experience:
- educated to degree level or above
- minimum three years post-qualification professional experience as curator/project manager
- background and keen interest in contemporary design, architecture and sustainability
- highly effective project manager with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- skilled researcher and concept development
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experienced writer, editor, and proofreader with exceptional attention to detail
- ability to develop and deliver clear and inspiring presentations
- exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders
- professional computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and experience of graphic programmes such as Adobe Creative Suite/InDesign
- flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working
- aptitude to collaborate and work in a team as well as independently
