A-nrd Studio is looking for mid-weight to senior interior designers to join its team in London.
Successful candidates can expect to work on a range of exciting new hospitality projects from hotels to restaurants and lifestyle co-working spaces.
A-nrd Studio is an award-winning, East London–based interior design practice known for creating effortless spaces that feel intimate and familiar.
Our projects include Michelin-star restaurant KOL, Ministry of Sound VIP experience and lifestyle hotel Birch (Selsdon).
We’re a tight-knit, passionate team with a growing portfolio, looking for designers who can confidently work across all stages of the design process — from developing strong conceptual narratives to producing detailed technical drawings.
This role is offered on a long-term freelance basis (starting with a six-month contract with opportunity for renewal) and includes flexible working from home, depending on project stage and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- develop interior design concepts with a strong narrative and clear design intent
- work across all phases of design: from concept development and FF&E sourcing to detailed technical drawings and on-site coordination
- design and develop bespoke joinery and collaborate closely with suppliers and contractors
- communicate ideas clearly through visuals, presentations, and documentation
Requirements:
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign
- ability to produce 3D visualisations using Cinema 4D and/or Rhino
- strong understanding of detailing and construction drawings
- proven hospitality design experience and knowledge of industry standards
- excellent visual and verbal communication skills
- knowledge of materials, finishes, and suppliers relevant to contract and hospitality projects
- passion for and knowledge of art and design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and composition
- currently based in London and eligible to work in the UK
