There is an opportunity for an interior designer at Spacelab in London.

spacelab_ are an exploratory architectural design studio. We are looking for an interior designer to join us on a full time permanent basis. The candidate will need to be an ambitious, talented designer and experience in the commercial workplace sector would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities:

  • developing concepts alongside a senior interior designer/architect and directors
  • responsible for generating, developing and implementing design concepts
  • liaising with consultants, overseeing the project deliverance to completion alongside internal team
  • work with a team, providing support to other designers
  • CAD technical output at each project stage
  • contributing towards the production of tender and pitch documents
  • creation of 3D models, schematic renders and presentation visualisations
  • creation of presentation plans, sections and elevations

Requirements:

  • interior design degree
  • a minimum of two years’ professional experience
  • good time management skills to meet multiple deadlines
  • knowledge of finishes, materials, packages and details
  • commercially minded and able to coordinate designs with other consultants
  • confident to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • good knowledge and experience of REVIT
  • fluent in English, verbal and written
  • proficient using Adobe Creative Suite
