Raw-Edges is looking for a junior photographer/visual production assistant (temporary contract) to join its London studio.

We are a design studio specialising in furniture, lighting, and product design, based in East London. Our projects starts from process-focused experimentation and develops into, functional, commercial designs. Our client list includes brands such as Louis Vuitton, Vitra, Mutina and Gan, alongside our ongoing research-driven studio projects and our in-house lighting label, LightMass^.
Role overview
We are seeking a junior photographer/visual content production assistant to support the creation, preparation, editing, and organisation of visual material for our website and social channels. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that all output is high-quality, cohesive, and reflective of our studio’s visual language.
This position is well suited to a recent graduate or early-career creative looking to build practical experience in digital content production within the furniture, lighting and product design world, while gaining insight into the day-to-day workings in our studio.
Responsibilities include capturing stills and short videos, editing content, managing CMS uploads, and assisting the wider team with occasional administrative and operational tasks. A flexible, proactive mindset and energetic positive attitude are key.
Key responsibilities:
- shoot photographs and short video clips using DSLR and iPhone
- edit and refine product images and videos for website use, including cropping, background cleanup, colour adjustments, retouching, and resizing
- create simple visual assets for social media (posts, stories, reel covers, highlight icons, etc.)
- maintain visual consistency across all content in line with our studio language
- upload, name, and organise image files within the CMS and shared digital libraries
- provide general support to the team when required
Skills and experience:
- experience editing images with tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, Figma or Illustrator
- experience editing short videos using Premiere or platforms like CapCut
- excellent attention to detail, especially regarding product photography and colour accuracy
- a genuine interest in interiors, design, or lifestyle content
- a prior experience in content creation, social media graphics, or e-commerce product editing
Contract details:
- location: London
- contract length: 12 weeks
- hours: two to three days per week
- working style: hybrid
- compensation: £120 per day
- start date: immediate
