Peter Mikic Studio is seeking a talented and detail-oriented mid-weight hospitality FF&E designer to join our Shoreditch studio.
Our hospitality portfolio spans high-end international environments including restaurants, hotels, branded residences, and retail spaces. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to prestigious global projects while working within a highly creative and collaborative studio environment.
We are looking for a proactive and organised designer with both a strong creative eye and technical precision. You will be comfortable managing responsibilities independently while collaborating closely with the wider design team, bringing a calm, solutions-focused mindset and excellent communication skills.

The role
As a mid-weight FF&E designer, you will support the development and delivery of luxury hospitality interiors from concept through to installation. Working closely with the director and senior designers, you will ensure all FF&E elements align with the studio’s creative vision and meet the highest standards of quality and execution.
Responsibilities include:
- collaborating with the design team to develop and execute FF&E concepts
- preparing mood boards, material palettes, and client presentations
- sourcing furniture, antiques, lighting, textiles, and artwork
- designing bespoke FF&E including case goods, upholstery, rugs, and lighting
- producing detailed specifications and FF&E schedules
- coordinating with international suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors
- tracking budgets and maintaining accurate FF&E documentation
- supporting site installations and ensuring quality standards are met
- maintaining knowledge of hospitality suppliers, materials, and emerging products
- travelling internationally to project sites as required
Key skills and experience:
- minimum four years industry experience, including at least two years in a hospitality-focused role
- design-related degree or equivalent qualification
- strong knowledge of international suppliers, materials, and finishes
- proven experience preparing FF&E specifications and schedules
- experience liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- ability to work within project budgets and timelines
- excellent organisation, communication, and presentation skills
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
- experience using Spec Designer or equivalent FF&E specification software
- ability to work confidently and discreetly with high-profile clients
- collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced studio environment
- UK citizen or settled status
- willingness to travel internationally
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:30am to 6:00pm
- studio-based role (no remote working)
