Partisans is hiring a senior interior designer to join its team in Toronto.
Partisans is a Toronto-based, award-winning design studio working at the intersection of technology, culture, and architecture. Our work spans high-end hospitality, residential, and mixed-use developments, with projects across Canada and internationally.
We are seeking a senior interior designer with seven and a half plus years’ of experience to lead projects from early concept through delivery. This role requires a strong conceptual thinker and project leader capable of managing complex projects while maintaining design intent.
Responsibilities:
- lead the development of design concepts aligned with project vision and strategy
- oversee multiple projects across all phases, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget alignment
- direct client presentations and coordinate project deliverables
- produce and manage drawing sets through all project stages
- lead the development of complex interior detailing
- oversee FF&E strategy and specifications
- mentor and support junior and intermediate team members
- build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers
- coordinate teams and monitor project schedules
Requirements:
- bachelor’s degree or diploma in interior design (or equivalent)
- seven and a half plus years’ of experience in high-end residential and/or hospitality projects
- strong experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- creative, proactive, and resourceful problem-solver
- strong understanding of building codes and technical requirements
- proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- strong organizational and leadership abilities
