Latitude Architects is hiring a part-time practice manager to join its team in London.

Part-time: two to three days per week.

We are looking for a part time practice manager to join our architects’ practice in Borough.

The role would allow flexible working hours with a total of two to three days a week anticipated.

Start date: ASAP

Salary: subject to experience

Responsibilities:

Financial management (using Xero):

• manage invoicing, expenses, and financial records
• reconcile bank accounts and track payments
• oversee supplier payments, standing orders, and direct debits
• liaise with the practice accountant to compile year end accounts and quarterly VAT returns

Financial planning and reporting:

• assist the directors in preparing project financial data, schedules of earnings, and cash flow forecasts
• manage administration of desk space rentals who share our workspace

Marketing and communications:

• help maintain the website, brochures, and marketing materials
• help manage the practices’ social media accounts.
• assist in the coordination of award submissions and press releases
• support directors in delivering marketing strategies
• help organise client and corporate events, likely one to two per year

Human resources:

• support recruitment and onboarding of new team members
• liaise with payroll providers
• track holidays, sick leave, and staff wellbeing
• help promote a positive workplace culture and ensure health and safety compliance
• help organise team events and the annual office European weekend trip away

Corporate responsibility

Assist the directors in maintaining up-to-date policies and best practices.

The successful applicant should have:

• fluent spoken English
• competent user of Microsoft Office
• working knowledge of Xero accounting software
• excellent communication skills
