The University of Sheffield is looking for studio tutors to join its School of Architecture & Landscape in Sheffield, UK.

The School of Architecture & Landscape at the University of Sheffield is seeking expressions of interest from experienced architectural practitioners and tutors who are interested in joining our team of studio tutors on our BA Architecture and MArch programmes.

Studio tutors play a key role in helping the school deliver its teaching to our undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing high quality studio teaching, seminars, workshops, tutorials and group work, and field trips, using a range of traditional and innovative teaching methods.

Studio Tutors will have a minimum of RIBA Part 2 and a good first degree, evidence of up-to-date professional skills, and the ability to deliver high quality teaching. As a member of the studio team, working either at  undergraduate or postgraduate level, studio tutoring, project design and brief writing will be important skills.

Work is paid at an hourly rate of £25.23 p/h (+ £3.05 p/h rolled up holiday pay) and we pay reasonable travel expenses within the UK. We expect to have a number of positions starting in September 2026 which will run for the full academic year. We are looking for either one day, two days or two half days commitment per week throughout the 30 teaching weeks of the academic year.
