About Studio Ore

Studio Ore is a rapidly growing British design company creating exceptional brassware, architectural hardware and objects for some of the world’s most considered interiors.

As we continue to grow internationally, we are looking for an exceptional Operations and Office Manager to help ensure the company behind the brand operates with the same level of thought, quality and attention to detail as our products.

The role

This is a broad, hands-on role at the centre of Studio Ore.

You will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of our London office while helping coordinate the operational requirements of our international locations. The role combines office and facilities management, HR administration, business operations and some finance and executive support.

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, brings structure and organisation to a busy environment and makes sure things actually get done.

People and HR:

  • coordinate recruitment administration, employment documentation, onboarding and offboarding
  • maintain HR records and manage holiday, absence and other people administration
  • liaise with external HR, payroll and employment advisers
  • maintain clear and effective internal policies and procedures

Operations and administration:

  • manage key company records, contracts, subscriptions, insurance renewals and recurring business requirements
  • improve and document internal processes as the company grows
  • coordinate across teams and locations to ensure important actions are followed through
  • identify operational problems and take ownership of resolving them
  • support the introduction of systems and processes that make the business more efficient and organised

Finance and commercial administration:

  • support the finance team with day-to-day financial administration
  • coordinate supplier invoices, expenses, purchase documentation and approvals
  • support budgeting, cost tracking and reporting where required
  • liaise with accountants, payroll providers, banks and other external advisers as necessary

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is exceptionally organised, capable and dependable and above all is confident to get on the phone and get things done

You will probably have experience in operations, office management, business administration or a similarly broad role. Experience within a growing international business, design company, architecture practice, premium brand or other creative environment would be particularly relevant.

You should be:

  • highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • proactive and comfortable taking responsibility
  • able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • confident dealing with employees, suppliers and external advisers
  • comfortable with numbers and basic financial administration
  • practical, resourceful and good at solving problems
  • excellent at creating structure, processes and order
  • discreet and trustworthy with confidential information
  • comfortable in a fast-growing business where priorities can change quickly

Above all, we are looking for someone who takes genuine satisfaction in making an office and a business run exceptionally well.
