There is a vacancy for a hitectural assistant/Qualified architect at Atelierdb Architects in London.
Atelierdb Architects are looking for an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant or a newly qualified architect to join our small friendly London studio.
Our projects include private house extensions, full remodelling and newbuild
houses, as well as hospitality, workplace and leisure projects in Greater London and the Home Counties. A number of our projects involve listed buildings. We are looking for someone with a drive to deliver high-quality design-led projects, as well as actively seek new opportunities, wishing to undertake business development for the office.
We are passionately committed to addressing energy challenges and the ideal
candidate will be committed to furthering our drive and learning in this critical area.
Candidate requirements:
- excellent communication skills and fluent in English, both written and
spoken - excellent AutoCAD, Adobe suite, SketchUp, Office 365 experience
- be experienced in dealing with London and Home County Planning
Authorities and their policies - have a good knowledge of building regulations
- preferably have experience and knowledge of historic buildings and their
general construction principles - have a good understanding of construction technologies, and/or
experience/knowledge of Passivhaus/Enerphit - have experience in interior architecture, shopfitting, joinery
- be fully aware of duties under CDM and as principal designer
- be passionately creative and wish to push design opportunities on all
projects - candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
