My Fab is hiring an architect/experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Join a growing contractor specialising in traditional and modular offsite construction, delivering technically challenging projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an architect or experienced architectural assistant looking to build a long-term career within a supportive, forward-thinking team.

Working directly under our Head of Design and other senior members of the team, you’ll take on the role of Architect / Architectural Assistant, contributing to the design and technical delivery of multiple live projects. You’ll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from concept through to completion and on to site and factory production, with genuine opportunities to grow into a senior design role as you develop within the company.

Your role will include:

• developing architectural design proposals and producing technical drawings and information across multiple projects
• coordinating architectural, structural and civil design information with consultants and internal teams
• producing detailed technical drawings to support site delivery and our modular factory
• reviewing drawings, technical submissions and design information from other consultants
• liaising with consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams to support successful design delivery
• helping to track design programmes and ensure quality and compliance are maintained
• visiting sites across London and occasionally travelling to our Module Factory in Northampton

What we’re looking for:

• a qualified architect (Part 3) or an experienced architectural assistant/technologist with strong technical design experience
  highly organised and methodical, with a genuine interest in technical design and construction
• eager to learn and develop within an experienced team
  comfortable managing competing priorities across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• a strong communicator with a collaborative, proactive approach
• strong familiarity with Revit and Enscape
• strong familiarity with the Adobe Suite
• proficiency in AutoCAD
• proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel and Word)
