Part 3 architect

Brooks Murray Architects is looking for a Part 3 architect to join its practice in London.

To support our mission, we’re looking for a full time, mature minded, energetic and proactive Part 3.
We offer experience across various types of projects; creating opportunities to develop different skills in various stages of the procurement process.
Your responsibilities may include
- taking responsibility for specific areas of the design and construction packages
- preparing, developing and editing, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design
- coordinating with and reviewing information from the client, consultants and contractor
- have a broad knowledge of general planning policy and building regulations
- attend and run site meetings and office meetings with clients, contractors and other consultants affiliated with the project
- robust contractual understanding
- where appropriate monitor construction work in progress to ensure compliance with the design
Candidates should:
- demonstrate design and technical aptitude, with developing design and technical confidence
- be self-driven and motivated to push contemporary design methods and representation
- have a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and the ability to handle multiple roles and responsibilities within a growing office
- have strong ability to use a variety of media and be proficient in 2D and 3D technical skills with: Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign
- be well organised with good time management
- have worked on projects through all RIBA work stages
- have a minimum of five years Part 3 experience
- have a proficient level of spoken and written English (IELTS 7-8, TOEFL iBT 94-109, TOEIC 901+ or CAMBRIDGE CPE)
