Lambart & Browne is seeking an office and finance manager to join its office in London.

Lambart & Browne are looking to hire a new member of the team here at our Borough Market studio. A leading design house we specialise in the exterior and interior design of very high end residential and commercial properties all over the world.

We are looking for an office and finance manager to effectively coordinate the day to day running of the finance and general office management.

Finance:

  • produce sales invoices in accordance with the agreed fee schedules and regular credit control
  • manage the purchase ledger function including entering all invoices onto the accounting system (QuickBooks)
  • preparing invoices for payment and regular supplier reconciliations
  • manage bank accounts including regular bank reconciliations
  • prepare month end reports for management team including cash flow forecast, management accounts and job profitability reports
  • VAT reconciliation and quarterly submissions
  • produce end of year accounts ready for review by external accountants

Office:

  • oversee the effective day to day running of the office
  • organise and develop daily office operations & procedures
  • point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, office supplies, equipment, utility bills
  • manage relationships with office vendors, service providers and landlord (including IT)
  • manage all insurance policies with operations director
  • ensure filing systems are maintained and correct
  • provide general support to visitors, answering & delegating the office phone
  • manage company calendar
  • implement and manage the company health & safety policy
  • research and suggest changes to improve operational efficiency
  • write reports for senior management

HR:

  • manage & conduct payroll (after sign off from operations director)
  • manage pensions
  • manage all staff contracts with the operations director
  • coordinate staff appraisals with management team
  • implement and promote equality & diversity policy
  • manage all recruitment processes and conduct interviews
  • work with design manager to ensure adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workloads requirements
  • a financial qualification and/or background is essential
  • minimum of five years’ experience in a similar office environment
  • experience in QuickBooks and Sage
  • excellent organisational and time management skills
  • knowledge of Apple products and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc)
  • strong IT skills
  • experience in HR management
