Forward Architects is hiring an architect to join its team in Malta.

Forward Architects is an architectural design practice based in Malta. We are actively engaged in projects of varying typologies and scales, including museums, educational buildings, residential projects, workplaces and hospitality projects.

Our work is grounded in the convergence of three core ideals: heritage, responsibility and community. It is our resolve to realise projects assembled from a thorough understanding of their specific heritage significance – built, natural, cultural and experiential – combined with a strong culture of making, to deliver innovative, relevant and responsible responses to the contemporary challenges affecting our communities.

We are looking for a talented Architect with a minimum of three years’ post-graduate experience Candidates should be competent in completing extremely high quality conceptual and technical work both independently and in a team.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience, enthusiasm and great attention to detail with exceptional design and presentation skills.

Requirements:

• master degree (or equivalent professional degree) in Architecture
• strong understanding of the design process
• experience in (technical) detailing, project-related (special) material research, and complex problem solving on all scales
• experience working with BIM and strong working knowledge of Revit
• strong conceptual, graphic and design talent
• excellent command of AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Suite skills
• ability to deliver within tight time frames
• fluency in written and spoken English
• candidates must feel confident in a complex, dynamic environment
