Architect/Part 2 architectural assistant

Architecture PLB is seeking an architect/Part 2 architectural assistant to join its practice in London.

If you are a recently qualified architect/experienced Part 2 architectural assistant we can offer you new design opportunities working on exciting projects in a friendly and collaborative environment.

We welcome applications from candidates with the following skills and experience…

Essential:

  • a minimum of three years’ experience in practice covering all project stages
  • knowledge of UK building regulations and other statutory requirements gained through a minimum of 12 months experience working at an equivalent level in an architect’s practice within the UK
  • excellent design skills and creative flair
  • strong technical and graphics skills including the ability to communicate design information through different mediums, from CAD, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop to freehand sketches, diagrams and physical models
  • BIM – fluent in Revit software. Minimum of one year’s experience using Revit to develop project information for all project stages
  • confident, proactive and highly organised team player
  • excellent written and spoken English

Advantageous:

  • good working knowledge of Vectorworks
