Bruntwood is seeking an interior designer to join its team in Manchester.

We’re looking for a truly brilliant interior designer with a passion for creating enviable and creative workspaces, someone who’s got a real creative flair and who takes a customer-focused approach. We’re passionate about our customers, and we’re determined to be flexible and forward thinking about how we deliver a great service in all of our buildings. The design team are seen as playing a key part in the customer journey and so you’ll have a great opportunity to make a difference to the way we do things. You’ll work on a variety of design projects, being involved in the end to end design process.

As an interior designer, you will:

  • prepare, develop and deliver multiple design projects using the RIBA stages, you will be involved in all aspects of the design process from taking the initial brief, creating concept, and developed design through to technical details and on-site support during construction
  • provide support to other members of the team to both initiate and take direction when required
  • take a customer-focused approach to everything you do to ensure all projects are delivered within agreed timescales and budget
  • be competent in taking and articulating a client or customer brief
  • establish great relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • be a champion for our brand and ensure you implement projects in line with our brand guidelines
  • be passionate about design and have an awareness and understanding of competitors within the marketplace
  • have a good understanding of current regulations and statutory authority requirements and apply these to projects

Who are we looking for:

  • someone who has a related degree with proven experience in a similar role, in a workplace or commercial setting
  • creative flair and a passion to come up with new and innovative ideas
  • a confident communicator who likes to work collaboratively and is comfortable building relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • excellent presentation skills
  • highly organised and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail, and have the ability to multitask a variety of projects
  • you will be able to adapt to changing priorities and take a proactive approach to solving problems
  • someone with an initiative and proactive approach to work
  • demonstrate good FF&E knowledge for the workplace and commercial environment
  • you will be AutoCAD proficient, and ideally able to work with Sketch-Up, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
