Industrial design intern

Mizzi Studio is looking for an individual to complete a paid six month internship at its studio in London.
About Mizzi Studio
We are an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design studio working on projects ranging from architecture to industrial, lighting, interactive design and commercial artworks. We specialise in sculptural, futuristic, and organically-inspired design. Mizzi works within some of London’s most prominent sites and has a diverse portfolio of reputable clients.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing innovative design studio. We seek only exceptionally gifted creatives who have a complete passion for design and enthusiasm for life.
Requirements:
- industrial design, architecture or associated design degree essential
- exceptional design skills with strong attention to detail
- experience in conceptual presentations
- ability to develop concept design sketches into advanced 3D models
- visualisation and rendering skills
- ability to work independently on their own initiative as well as part of the team
- should be enthusiastic, inventive, energetic
- the candidate must be fluent in English, both written and verbally, and can work in the UK full time
- able to start immediately
Essential skills:
- excellent 3D modelling and visualisation skills preferably in Rhino or Alias
- strong 2D technical detailing and drafting skills within AutoCAD
- fluent in Photoshop and InDesign
Bonus Skills:
- knowledge of Autodesk Maya
- Grasshopper knowledge
