Senior overlay designer
at Populous
An opportunity for a senior overlay designer has become available at Populous in London, on a 12 month fixed-term basis for maternity cover.
As a senior overlay designer you will have extensive experience working on major games and sports events, as well as experience in coordinating overlay design in a team, client facing and third party environment. Candidates must be able to travel to France for site visits.
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- development of block plans from bid stage through to detailed design
- integrating new sports to existing venues
- conducting feasibility studies for new venues
- development of flow and affinity diagrams for various client groups
- confirmation of technical specifications
- participating in meetings and workshops with clients and third parties
- proficiency in; CAD, AutoCAD, Microstation, Microsoft Office and Illustrator
- prior experience of game delivery on site is preferred
- coordinate junior designers in the team
- strong communication skills
