UNA has an opening for an architect to join its studio in Hamburg, Germany.
UNA is expanding its design team in Hamburg.
The architects and junior architects joining UNA will be working on exciting architectural projects and curatorial masterplans for contemporary art foundations in and around Venice. The projects entail both renovations and new constructions.
UNA is an international architecture studio based in Hamburg and Venice.
Operating at multiple scales, the practice is focused on cultural projects -ranging from the design of contemporary art foundations and museum extensions to exhibition installations and curatorial masterplans. Alongside the cultural specialisation, the office portfolio includes residential projects as well as temporary pavilions.
Research being one of the drivers for all projects at UNA, the office is actively engaged in academia and is currently developing a cross-disciplinary project on the southernmost continent of planet earth, Antarctica.
Founded by Giulia Foscari, the uncompromising design agenda and ethics of UNA are fueled by an international and devoted team of architects.
Requirements
Architect:
- minimum five years’ work experience
- high level of design competency
- good understanding of construction documentation and experience in construction sites
- good technical knowledge and detailing capabilities
- proficiency in Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino, BIM
- proactive and enthusiastic personality with strong interpersonal skills
- experience in cultural projects is welcomed
- fluency in Italian and English is essential. A good knowledge of the German language is desirable but not indispensable
